Valentin Chardonnay AOC 2016
Full of body, the chardonnay grape is known worldwide. Our climate and local environment provide it with the ideal conditions to make a wine of great class, combining both freshness and structure. Buttery to the nose, sometimes with a hint of citrus (depending on the vintage) and slightly flinty in the mouth. It is an ideal accompaniment to both freshwater and sea fish, lobster and all white meat dishes.
The typical white grape of Burgundy and Champagne. Nowadays, it is found in many vineyards throughout the world. However, Chardonnay demands particular conditions if it is to develop fully all of its qualities. If the climate is too hot, its very subtle bouquet can become too intense and vulgar, resulting in a wine which is heavy and unpleasant.
